This year, for the first time ever, theĀ Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) will have an AI robot as one of the hosts:Ā Robin the Robot.
The device will join the three previously announced human hosts: Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan and Karina Ignatyan. The event is scheduled for December 11th in Yerevan (Armenia).
In addition to being on stage, Robin will also introduce the rehearsal roundup shows on the official JESC YouTube channel on December 8th and 9th.
This robot is an Armenian creation and was considered by Time magazine as one of the 100 best inventions of 2021. It is used in local hospitals and also in medical facilities in the United States of America.
