The Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) 2023 is just around the corner. This Monday marks the official start of the program with the opening ceremony in Nice.
The event will take place at the Hotel Negresco, hosted by Carla Lazzari and Manon Théodet. Laura Tenoudji and Ophenya will welcome the delegations from the 16 participating countries.
There will be performances by the French representatives in JESC since 2018, singing excerpts from their songs. Following tradition, there will also be a draw to determine the performance order for the host country, France, as well as the first and last countries to perform.
The JESC 2023 opening ceremony is scheduled for 16:00 (CET) and can be watched live at this link.
