A few days before the auditions begin, new details emerged about the Una Voce per San Marino – the San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023.
In a press conference, the broadcaster San Marino RTV has announced that Senhit, San Marino’s representative at the ESC in 2011 and 2021, will be one of the hosts alongside Jonathan. The duo already hosted this year’s final.
As for the winner of the first edition of the show, Achille Lauro, was revealed as one of the guest performers and will perform live.
Ludovico Di Meo, general director of San Marino RTV, stated: “Achille Lauro’s exploited has served to make this new format known. Like every new thing, we need to grow and we will do it. year after year. We will have the luck and the bravery to find new, real talent, to bring to Liverpool, the home of The Beatles”.
Una Voce per San Marino has a first stage with the auditions from October 28 until January 27. About 20 participants will progress to the four semifinals and second chance round, which will select the finalists. The grand final will be held on February 25 in the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana, with a five-member jury deciding the results.
