Malta will continue to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2025 and in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) this year.
The country’s broadcaster announced its participation on Monday, promoting once again The Malta Eurovision Song Contest Music Exchange Camp. This initiative aims to create songs for the national selections for each of the competitions.
In the case of adults, there will be 50 artists aged 16 and above, while for teenagers, it will be open to artists aged 9 to 14, with a total of ten participants. The Exchange Camp is expected to take place in June.
Although songs written as part of the initiative may be submitted for the Maltese selections for the ESC and the JESC, it is not guaranteed that they will be selected.
