Image credits: © SVT / Stina Stjernkvist Jacqline and Cazzi Opeia qualified for the final of Melodifestivalen 2024 this Saturday, keeping their chances alive to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
Today’s heat took place at the Vida Arena in Växjö. Six participants performed, with Jacqline opening the stage and Cazzi Opeia closing it. The results were determined entirely by the audience.
In the first round, Jacqline was announced as the winner of the heat. The remaining five contestants proceeded to a second round of voting. The gala concluded with the announcement of points by age groups. Cazzi Opeia received by far the most votes with 104 points, securing her spot in the final as well.
In the following positions were Klaudy and Gunilla Persson, who will now participate in the «Run-Off» to determine the last two finalists.
