Image: Screen capture RAI 1 Geolier was the most voted contestant on the second night of the Sanremo Festival 2024. The event, whose winner earns the right to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), continued tonight.
This Wednesday, 15 of the 30 contestants returned to perform their respective songs on the stage of the Teatro Ariston. Each performance was introduced by one of the other 15 participants. On this evening, both the radio jury and the audience voted via televoting. Each one had a weight of 50%.
Once again, the lineup of special guests was extensive and rich, including international figures such as Bob Sinclair and John Travolta, as well as former Sanremo participants Leo Gassmann and Rosa Chemical, among others.
At the end of the gala, the top five of the night was announced and Geolier was the most voted with the song I’ p’ me, tu p’ te. Loredana Bertè, who won the first night, was fourth. Tomorrow, the third night will feature the remaining 15 contestants and a new top five will be announced.
