Image credits: © NDR/Bildergarten Entertainment Florian was chosen this Thursday as the ultimate finalist of Das Deutsche Finale 2024, Germany’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The Ich will zum ESC!, a kind of pre-selection, concluded at the Kreuzberg Festival Hall in Berlin. Anne, Floryan, and Luca participated. Bibiane Z also made it to the final, but had to withdraw yesterday due to health issues.
The voting was done by the public, both through televoting and online. The performances were commented on by a panel of celebrities including singer Levent Geiger, choreographer Nikaeta Thompson, and singer Tim Kamrad.
In the end, Florian was announced as the winner thus sealing a place in the final of German selection. The remaining results are not known. The Das Deutsche Final will take place on February 16th in Berlin.
