All participating countries in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) 2023 are now known. There will be 16 countries taking the stage in Nice on November 26, with the highlight being Estonia’s debut.
The complete list of participants was announced this Tuesday. Kazakhstan and Serbia withdrew after 2022, while Estonia will compete for the first time and Germany returns after a two-year absence.
In total, there will be as many competing countries in JESC 2023 as in the previous editions. For the first time, all of the «Big 5» (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) will be participating at the same edition.
