All participating countries in theĀ Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC)Ā 2023 are now known. There will beĀ 16 countries taking the stage in Nice on November 26, with the highlight beingĀ Estonia’sĀ debut.

The complete list of participants was announced this Tuesday. Kazakhstan and Serbia withdrew after 2022, whileĀ Estonia will compete for the first time andĀ Germany returns after a two-year absence.

In total, there will be as many competing countries in JESC 2023 as in the previous editions. For the first time, all of the Ā«Big 5Ā» (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom) will be participating at the same edition.
