Despite the controversy, Israel will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024, and this Tuesday Eden Golan was elected as the country’s representative.

The talent show HaKokhav HaBa was the format for choosing the performer, starting to be broadcasted last November. The final was this Tuesday, with four contestants: Dor Shimon, Eden Golan, Mika Moshe, and Or Cohen, who performed covers.
