On Tuesday, the allocation draw of the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 took place. The event was held in the host city Malmö, presented by Pernilla Månsson Colt and Farah Abadi.

The 31 semifinalist countries were distributed across each of the semifinals, and it was also determined in which part of the semifinals they will perform. It was also established which pre-qualified countries for the final (Big 5 and host country Sweden) will vote in each semifinal.

The event included the host city insignia handover from Liverpool to Malmö. The specific running order will be defined later. The semifinals will take place on May 7 and 9 at the Malmö Arena, the same venue as the final scheduled for May 11.
