This Tuesday is a busy day regarding the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024. In Spain, the Benidorm Fest begins, and in the host city Malmö (Sweden), the semifinals allocation draw will take place. Learn the details to follow everything.
ESC 2024/Semi-finals allocation draw – The Draw (19:00, EBU)
«The Draw» was the chosen designation for one of the most anticipated moments in January: the draw for the allocation of the semifinals of ESC 2024. It will be revealed in which semifinal each of the 31 semifinalist countries will perform, as well as in which each automatic finalist will vote. The event, which also includes the ceremony of passing the host city insignia from Liverpool to Malmö, is scheduled for 19:00 (CET time), with live streaming on the ESC’s YouTube channel.

Spain/Benidorm Fest – Semi-final 1 (22:50, RTVE)
The 2024 edition of Benidorm Fest, Spain’s selection for the ESC, begins this Tuesday. The format is similar to the past few years, with two semifinals, each featuring eight contestants, and four of them advancing to the grand final. The professional jury accounts for 50% of the results, the demoscopic jury has a weight of 25%, as does the public televote. All the shows take place at the Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm. This semifinal is scheduled for 22:50 and will be broadcast on RTVE website.
