Another competing song at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 has been revealed. This Wednesday it was Armenia’s turn to unveil its proposal.
The Ladaniva, announced as the country’s representatives last Saturday, will sing Jako. The composition is by Zhaklin Baghdasaryan, Louis Thomas, and Audrey Leclercq, while the lyrics are by Zhaklin Baghdasaryan and Louis Thomas.
It’s a song entirely in Armenian, which hasn’t happened since 2018 when Sevak Khanagyan sang Qami. The release took place on Ladaniva’s debut album last September, but it’s only now that it’s known to be Armenia’s song for ESC 2024. Additionally, the official music video has been released.
