Image credits: Yle / Miikka Varila There are already names rumored for the UMK 2023, which selects the Finland’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). There will be seven contestants, who will be officially announced on January 11th.
According to the website Italehti, Lxandra, Portion Boys and Robin Packalen may be among the participants. Lxandra is a Swedish-Finnish singer-songwriter whose debut album was released in 2021. Portion Boys are a pop dance band formed in 2010, while Robin Packalen is an artist who has four albums that have topped the Finnish charts.
UMK 2023 is scheduled for February 25 in Logomo, Turku. The songs will be released between January 12th and January 20th, one per day except weekend days.
