Image: Screen capture TRM The auditions for Etapa Națională 2024 took place this Saturday, during which the 11 finalists for Moldova’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) were chosen.
A total of 30 songs were presented, with some performers entering more than one song. Y-Limit is an example, as one of their songs was selected while another was eliminated.
The results were determined solely by the jury, with each member of the jury scoring the performances from 0 to 10. Initially, ten songs were supposed to qualify, but due to a three-way tie for the ninth, tenth, and 11th places, an extra spot was granted.
The final of Etapa Națională is scheduled for February 17, where the voting will be 50 percent from the jury and 50 percent from the public through televoting.
