Image credits: Corinne Cumming / EBU There were technical issues during Portugal’s performance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) 2023. The country was represented by Júlia Machado, performing the song Where I Belong.
RTP (Portuguese public broadcasting) informed about the situation on social media, also clarifying that they chose not to repeat the performance considering there was no impact on the vocal performance:
– During Júlia’s performance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, there was a technical issue with the LED screen content and the direction. It was considered that Júlia would not perform again as it did not affect her vocal performance”.
