Monika Linkytė will not ‘Stay’ in Lithuania and will fly to Liverpool to represent the country at Eurovision 2023

Monika Linkytė will represent again Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in 2023, this time solo. This Saturday, the artist won the national final Pabandom iš naujo! with the song Stay.

Mario Junes was the first of the contestants to take the stage, while Monika Linkytė was the last. In addition to the participants, the final featured performances by last year’s winner, Monika Liu, ESC 2019 winner Duncan Laurence (The Netherlands) and this year’s Ukrainian representatives: Tvorchi.

The jury’s points were the first to be announced and Monika Linkytė was the most voted with Rūta MUR being second. The public elected Rūta MUR and left Monika Linkytė in second. The jury’s vote prevailed and Monika Linkytė was crowned the winner with the song Stay.
