Mimicat will be the spokesperson for the Portuguese jury at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024, thus announcing the highest score in the grand final on Saturday.
The artist represented the country last year with the song Ai Coração, managing to achieve 23rd place. Now, she returns as the spokesperson for the jury, with RTP continuing its tradition of having the spokesperson be the Portuguese representative from the previous edition.
In addition to Mimicat, seven other former ESC participants have been confirmed as spokespersons for their respective countries: Aysel (Azerbaijan), Frans (Sweden), Helena Paparizou (Greece), Jamala (Ukraine), Natasha St-Pier (France), Sopho Khalvashi (Georgia), and Soraya (Spain).
