Marco Mengoni once again admitted a possible change of the song with which he will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023. At the Sanremo Festival, he won with the track Due Vite, which he can change for Liverpool.

On RAI 1’s TG1, the artist was asked wheter he will keep the song from the Italian competition for ESC. Marco Mengoni answered that Due Vite has priority, but it is still not certain that it will be the final choice:

– I think so, although the whole Eurovision song is a bit open and we still have some time. I wrote some things for the album, however, Due Vite has the first refusal right, but my team and I are open to anything. However, we are going to represent Italy in Europe, at this moment doing the Eurovision is important because music is union and will unite all of Europe”.
