Loreen and Marco Mengoni were the winners of the Marcel Bezençon Awards in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023.
One hour before the grand final, the winners of these awards were announced. Created in 2002, there are three categories in these prizes: Artistic (voted by the commentators); Composer (voted by a jury formed by participating composers) and Press (voted by the accredited press).
For Marco Mengoni and the song Due Vite, from Italy, it was the Composer Award. As for Loreen, who defends Sweden with the song Tattoo, won the Artistic and Press Awards.
This was the second time that Loreen won the Artistic Award, after having also won it in 2012. That year, she had also won the Composer Award.
