The participating countries in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 is expected to be revealed this week. At the moment, there are 33 countries that have confirmed their presence in the event.
On the other hand, there is also confirmed absences, such as Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia. According to BBC News, the official list of participants is expected to be announced later this week.
The ESC 2023 will be held in Liverpool, UK, that will continue to participate. The organization is on behalf of Ukraine, this year’s winner that is also confirmed.
It is not known for sure how many countries will compete, but it is foreseeable that it will be less than in 2022 – since returning countries are not expected to fill the two that are leaving.
