Just a few days after Das Deutsche Finale 2024, the detailed public vote at the Germany’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) have been unveiled. Isaak emerged as the winner with the song Always on the Run.

The artist received the 12 points from the televote, but the margin over Max Mutzke was narrow: he received 110,116 votes compared to the votes for the second-placed contestant.

Since Isaak had also got the most points from the jury, coming in second with the audience vote wouldn’t have made a difference in the final win. There was only one tie, between the eighth and ninth place finishers, and the public vote prevailed in breaking it.

The composition of the eight international juries was also revealed, with only their respective spokespersons known during the live broadcast.
