Dez qualified for the final of the Una Voce per San Marino 2024

The penultimate semi-final of Una Voce per San Marino 2024 was broadcasted this Thursday, with Dez moving on to the final of San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

Thirty more contestants performed, and they were judged by a jury. Dez, with the song Freedom, received the most points and thus advances to the final. Dəva, Effemme, Nadine Randle, and Sandro Machado proceeded to the runoff round, which determines the last two finalists.

Among these four songs, Sandro Machado’s Mi sangas sen vi stands out, as its lyrics are in Esperanto: the language had never before been featured in the ESC or national selections.
