The rehearsals are about to begin, and this Thursday the first official pictures of the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 were revealed. The event will take place on May 7, 9, and 11 at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, Sweden.
The construction features around 1,000 square meters of LED screens, including one LED floor screen and another backdrop screen. Hanging from the ceiling are five LED cubes, in addition to other technical equipment totaling 204 tons.
The stage presented now by the host broadcaster SVT will start receiving the competing artists on the morning of this Saturday, April 27. It is situated in the middle of the audience, in a cross shape that allows for a 360-degree experience.
