The St. George’s Hall in Liverpool hosted the opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 yesterday, May 7. This was the official start of the event, after a week of individual rehearsals.
Delegations from the 37 participating countries walked on the Turquoise Carpet and interacted with the press, the hosts, fans and public figures, in a kind of «welcome» befor the start of the shows.
