For the press, the winner of Eurovision 2024 is Croatia

The first dress rehearsal for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 took place this afternoon at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, Sweden. In the press poll, the victory went to Croatia.

Afterwards, the press voted in the poll promoted by the site escxtra.com, an initiative in which e-FestivalCOM also participated. With 432 points, Croatia was the winning country, represented by Baby Lasagna with the song Rim Tim Tagi Dim. In second place was Switzerland (Nemo, The Code) with xxx points, while the podium was completed by Ireland (Bambie Thug, Doomsday Blue) scoring 304 points

This poll did not include the Netherlands, as it was based on Friday’s rehearsal in which Joost Klein did not perform. In total, 69 press outlets voted, scoring their top five performances on a 12-10-8-6-4 point scale.

Will these be indicators of what might happen this Saturday night in Malmö? We’ll find out in just over 24 hours.
