

The first finalists of the Festival da Canção 2024 are now known. The first semi-final of Portugal’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) took place this Saturday at RTP studios in Lisbon.
There were ten participants in this semifinal. Nena opened the performance stage, with Bispo closing the running order.
As for guest performances, Selma Uamusse and guests took the stage in the opening, as well as the interval acts Delfins.
In the first round of voting, the jury and the public each had a 50% weight in selecting five finalists: iolanda, João Borsch, Nena, Rita Rocha and Perpétua.
The remaining five participants went to a second round of public voting only, which chose Noble as a finalist.
