Finalists have emerged in Malta’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024. The semi-finals took place between October 27th and November 17th, selecting 12 contestants.
The Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) won’t have live performances: artists will have to record a live-on-tape performance in December, with the opportunity for three takes within a 60-minute window. Once these recordings and official videos are broadcasted, the public and a jury will vote to determine the results.
Among the 12 finalists, there are familiar names from previous years: Denise, Greta Tude, Haley, Matt Blxck, Miriana Conte, Nathan, Ryan Hili, and Sarah Bonnici. Among those eliminated, noteworthy is Eliana Gómez Blanco, Malta’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) in 2019.
