Image: e-FestivalCOM.com The dates for the 2024 edition of the Festival da Canção, which will select Portugal’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), have been set.
Similar to previous years, the Portuguese event will take place between late February and early March: the first semifinal is on February 24, the second semifinal is scheduled for March 2, and the grand final will take place on March 9.
The venues, hosts, as well as the performers and songs, are yet to be revealed. The official presentation of the Festival da Canção will take place on Thursday, January 18, where these details are expected to be revealed.
