Image credits: © Morgan Norman Carina Berg will be the host of Melodifestivalen 2024. The event determines Sweden’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) and will feature five semifinals, in addition to the grand final, taking place from February 3 to March 9.
With an extensive career in Swedish radio and television, Carina Berg has hosted shows such as Idols, The Voice, Morgonpasset, among others. She has worked in both Europe and the United States in the field of television entertainment. For several years, she has been the host of Barncancergalan (Children’s Cancer Gala). Carina Berg has received numerous awards and also co-hosts a podcast with Carolina Gynning.
In a statement, Carina Berg expressed: ”I feel so honored and happy to host the entire festival. It is the largest television production I have ever been involved in, so it not only seems big, it is big. It will be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait for it to start”.
