The Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 week officialy begins this Sunday, with the Turquoise Carpet opening ceremony.

The event takes place at St. George’s Hall in Liverpool from 15h00 (local time). Timur Miroshnychenko and Sam Quek are the hosts.

During the ceremony, delegations from the 37 participating countries will walk on the Turquoise Carpet, in addition to meeting with some key people:  the mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson; ESC Executive Supervisor, Martin Österdahl; and with teams from the broadcasters BBC e UA:PBC.
