The consequences for the show of the disqualification of the representative from the Netherlands in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 have been explained. Even without participating, the Dutch votes will still be valid.

The performance order number remains the same for everyone. The Netherlands was scheduled to perform #5, which will not be used. Therefore, Luxembourg will be the fourth country to perform, taking the number #4, while Israel will be the sixth to perform, taking the number #6. As for the phone voting lines, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will inform telecommunication partners of the situation to block the lines for song #5.

Regarding the jury voting, the procedure dictates that each juror must rank the songs from 1st to 26th place. With the exclusion of the Netherlands occurring after the jury show, adjustments will be made according to the rankings. For example, if a jury places the Netherlands first, the country that came in second will now be placed first.

Viewers will not be able to vote for the Netherlands. However, viewers from that country can still vote in the grand final, while the Dutch jury will continue to have a valid vote.
