The song proposed by Israel for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 is set to be released on March 11. The performer, already known, is Eden Golan.
Allegedly titled “October Rain,” the international press has reported that the song is under scrutiny by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) – which is assessing its eligibility, as the lyrics may contain political messages, prohibited in the ESC.
Meanwhile, according to OGAE Greece, the music video will be filmed on February 29, and the broadcaster KAN is preparing to release the song on March 11 in a special broadcast – provided the participation is confirmed. It is not clear whether one or more versions will be recorded.
The special broadcast will include a live performance by Eden Golan singing “October Rain,” as well as a cover of “Unicorn” – the song by Noa Kirel with which Israel competed in 2023.

Entretanto, segundo a OGAE Greece, o videoclip vai ser filmado no dia 29 de fevereiro e a emissora KAN prepara o lançamento da canção para 11 de março, numa emissão especial – desde que a participação se confirme. Não é claro se será gravada uma ou mais versões.
A emissão especial irá incluir atuação ao vivo de Eden Golan a interpretar October Rain, assim como um cover de Unicorn – a canção de Noa Kirel com que Israel concorreu em 2023.
