Image credits: EBU / Andres Putting Uma década depois há nova líder do ESC Top 250: Chanel, com a canção SloMo, depois de representar Espanha no Festival Eurovisão da Canção (ESC) 2022. MARO foi a melhor portuguesa, em 28.º.
Uma década depois, Loreen e a canção Euphoria (representantes da Suécia no ESC 2012) foram finalmente destronadas da liderança desta classificação promovida pelo site Songfestival.be. Os fãs tiveram a hipótese de votar entre 7 de novembro e 4 de dezembro.
Com 35.376 pontos, Chanel assumiu a liderança da classificação. Loreen ficou relegada a segundo com «apenas» 23.248 pontos. Em terceiro está agora Cornelia Jakobs, com a canção Hold Me Closer – representante sueca em 2022. Somou 13.285 pontos.
Ainda entre os cinco primeiros estão Eleni Foureira e Fuego (Chipre 2018) e Måneskin e Zitti e Buoni (Itália 2021). A canção vencedora do ESC 2022, Stefania dos Kalush Orchestra pela Ucrânia, ficou na 39.ª posição.
Quanto a Portugal, teve saudade, saudade, de MARO, como a melhor colocada em 28.º com 3.480 pontos. Foi ainda a sexta canção mais votadas entre as de 2022. Duas posições abaixo, em 30.º (recuando 21 lugares), ficou Amar Pelos Dois, de Salvador Sobral, que levou Portugal à vitória do ESC 2017. Ao todo, cinco canções portuguesas constaram do ESC Top 250, enquanto na versão mais alargada do top 500 ficaram 13 temas portugueses.
