Image credits: EBU / Nathan Reinds Next week, Austria’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 will be revealed. The country’s public broadcaster, ORF, has once again opted for an internal selection, despite having a different format.
This Tuesday, Eberhard Forcher, head of the selection, wrote on social media that it’s “just under a week” before the announcement – not mentioning an exact date. He also confirmed that the representative is a female singer.
Austria’s selection process included castings, which were then presented to a jury made up of Austrian and international experts, as well as ESC fan clubs in several countries.
