Andrew Lambrou is confirmed as Cyprus’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023, thus joining Noa Kirel (Israel) among the artists who were already announced. More details will be revealed later.
The singer has dual Australian and Cypriot citizenship. This year, he was seventh in the Australian selection, the Eurovision – Australia Decides, with the song Electrify.
Now, he will have the chance to participate in the ESC 2023, having been chosen in collaboration by the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC and the record labels Panik Records (Greece) and City Pop Records (Australia).
Andrew Lambrou wrote on social media: “I’m so excited to announce that I will be representing Cyprus at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest! I’m so thrilled to go on this journey, let’s do this!!”.
