Australia revealed this afternoon its representatives in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023. After participating in last year’s national selection, Voyager were internally chosen by the broadcaster SBS.
The song, Promise, was also released. Since its debut in 2016, this is the first time Australia will be represented by a group, as until 2022 it had always chosen solo artists.
Voyager were founded in 1999 and it’s a progressive metal band. Its current members aare Daniel Estrin (vocals, keys), Simone Dow (guitars), Scott Kay (guitars), Ashley Doodkorte (drums) e Alex Canion (bass and vocals).
