Image credits: Nikos Zikos More than a month after Victor Vernicos was chosen to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023, the song was finally released: What They Say.
The singer is also the songwriter. The selection was internal, in a process which featured a jury and a public committee with 70 members.
Only three of the 106 candidates made it to the final round. There, Victor Vernicos won with 1,249 points, against 1,133 for Melissa Mantzoukis and 1,061 for Antonia Kaouri and Maria Maragkou.
