Ukraine and the United Kingdom have already drawn their positions in the running order of the final of the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023. The show is exactly two months from now, on May 13,m at the Liverpool Arena, and this Monday the usual meeting of heads of delegations took place.
In a draw overseen by the Executive Supervisor of ESC, Martin Ă–sterdahl, Ukraine’s head of delegation, Oksana Skybinska, won the coin toss against her UK counterpat, Adam Wydrzynski.
Thus, Oksana Skybinska decided to draw the UK running order first: 26th. Afterwards, she drew Ukraine, being the 19th to perform in the grand final of ESC 2023. The remaining of the running order will be defined after the semi-final.
The United Kingdom will be represented by Mae Muller with the song I Wrote a Song, while Ukraine will take TVORCHI and the song Heart of Steel. The two countries are co-organizing the ESC 2023 since, due to the war, Ukraine cannot host the event as last year’s winner.
