Tyoz was co-author of the song that could be performed by Bárbara Tinoco herself. The event elects the representative of Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
On social media, Tyoz wrote: “My «Tinoquinha» goes to Festival da Canção as a songwriter!!! Its a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful song, that we wrote together some time ago. Believe me, it will surprise you a lot. Forever proud of you, Bárbara Tinoco”.
A follower asked the artist whether the song was written with Festival da Canção in mind. In the answer, Tyoz revealed that it started out as a song for someone else before Bárbara Tinoco got the song – which suggests that she can be the singer:
– When we wrote it some time ago, it was initially for someone else, but then Bárbara took the song and everything suggested that the Festival was the place to host that song”.
If confirmed, Bárbara Tinoco would participate as a singer for the second time, after having done so in 2020 with a song wrote by Tiago Nacarato: Passe-Partout. She finished as the runner-up.
