Image: Screen capture TVM The Busker will represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023. The band won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) with the song Dance (Our Own Party).
This Saturday, the final of the Maltese event had 16 participants, with Nathan being the first to perform. The running order was closed by Stefan. Adding color to the show were several guests: Emma Muscat sang last year’s winning song, Out of Sight; Amber & Glen performed songs from the past of the ESC; the disqualified Aidan also took the stage as a guest, as did Annalise Dance Studio.
The first vote to be announced was that of the jury in which, surprisingly, the most scored was Matt Blxck. The public preferred The Bunker, who, in the sum of both votes, scored 121 points and won MESC. Thus, the band will represent Malta at ESC 2023 in Liverpool.
