More than 120 songs were submitted for Latvia’s selection for the Eurovision 2023

A total of 121 songs were sent for Supernova 2023: Latvia’s selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

According to the website LSM.lv, the broadcaster LTV announced that it received 121 songs, nine less than last year. A jury formed by the broadcaster itself will now evaluate the songs to choose the finalists.

It is expected that the selected selected artists and songs will be revealed in January. The format, number of participating songs and the dates of Supernova 2023 have not yet been announced, but it is expected that the event will take place in February.
