Image credits: Alma Bengtsson/SVT Doubts about Loreen’s staging at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 are now overcome. The artist will represent Sweden with the song Tattoo and stands out as one of the strong candidates to win.
In a «Ask Me Anything» session with the fans on Reddit, Loreen was asked if she had already sorted out her staging for Liverpool. The singer answered: “Yes, and I hope it inspires you”.
The issue was around the upper LED platform used at Melodifestivalen 2023, whose weight and characteristics would be incompatible with the ESC 2023 – not least because platforms hanging from the ceiling have been avoided over the years.
Asked about whether she believes she will be able to keep Melodifestivalen’s staging, Loreen neither confirmed nor denied: “I will do my best for you guys!”.
