All the finalists of the Festival da Canção 2024 are now known. The second semi-final of Portugal’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) took place this Saturday.
Through the stage at RTP studios in Lisbon, ten more contestants performed. Buba Espinho was the first on stage, while Silk Nobre closed the running order.
In addition to the participants, guests performed: Milhanas and Herman José.
In the first round, the in-studio jury and the public voted, each accounting for 50% of the result. The top five were directly qualified for the final: Buba Espinho, Cristina Clara, Léo Middea, No Mala feat. Ana Maria and Silk Nobre.
Then, the remaining five contestants went through a second round of voting. The count restarted, and only the public voted to select the sixth and final finalist of the night: Rita Onofre.
The grand final of the Festival da Canção 2024 will be next Saturday, March 9, also at RTP studios in Lisbon.
