Image credits: Alma Bengtsson/SVT The first two finalists of Melodifestivalen 2023 were selected tonight. The Sweden’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) has began this Saturday in Gothenburg with the first heat.
Seven participants took the stage and were voted by the public. John Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat Adam Woods and Tone Sekelius were directly qualified for the grand final.
As for Victor Crone and Elov & Beny, they still can fight for a place in the decisive show, being relegated to the semi-final – that is a kind of second chance round.
