Unusual situation at Una Voce per San Marino 2024. This Thursday, Loredana Bertè was definitively confirmed as one of the finalists of San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) with the song Pazza.
It is exactly the same song with which, about two weeks ago, the veteran artist participated in the Italian selection for the ESC, the Sanremo Festival. In the Italian contest, Loredana Bertè finished seventh and won the Mia Martini Critics’ Award.
During the Sanremo Festival, the singer reiterated her desire to participate in the ESC 2024 in Sweden… saying in the newspaper La Repubblica that she would like to “annoy” her ex-husband: Swedish tennis player Björn Borg. In San Marino, she will have a second chance.
In 2022, Achille Lauro also competed in Sanremo and then in the Sammarinese selection (which he won, representing the Most Serene Republic), but he did it with a different song.
