Four more qualifiers for the Benidorm Fest 2024 final

The second semi-final of Benidorm Fest 2024 took place this Thursday, defining the last four finalists for Spain’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).

Eight more participants took the stage at the Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm, in an order of performance that began with María Peláe and Almácor. And, it must be said, musical diversity was not lacking.

After the competitive performances, the Galician phenomenon Iñigo Quintero performed the song Si No Estás during the voting. Before the results were announced, Sergio Dalma took the stage with the song Sonríe porque estás en la foto.

The jury vote, accounting for 50%, was the first to be revealed. St. Pedro, receiving 94 points, led the vote. Then, the demoscopic jury (25%) gave their maximum score of 40 points to Jorge González… as well as the public televote, also with a weight of 25%.

In the total, the winner of the semifinal was St. Pedro with 164 points. Almácor, María Peláe and Jorge González were also qualified. They join Angy Fernández, Miss Caffeina, Nebulossa, and Sofía Coll in the grand final next Saturday, February 3rd.
