The first semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju 2024, Serbia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), took place tonight. The first eight finalists were determined.
Fourteen contestants took to the stage and were judged by both the jury and the public, with each having a 50% weighting in the final result.
In addition to the contestants, guest performances were also featured: Nevena Božović opened the show with a rendition of Tattoo, the song with which Loreen won the ESC 2023 for Sweden. The interval act was a medley of ABBA songs featuring Gift, Dragana Radaković, Orthodox Celts, and Dejan Petrović & Dragačevske vezilje.
At the end of the broadcast, the qualifiers were announced in random order, with the full results not yet disclosed. The finalists are Bojana x David; Breskvica; Hristina; Keni nije mrtav; Lena Kovačević; Marko Mandić; M.IRA; ande Zorja.
The second semi-final of Pesma za Evroviziju 2024 is scheduled for Thursday, February 29.
