Part of the tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2023 will be made available to Ukrainian citizens who were foreced to leave the country due to the war.
According to the event’s official website, displaced people from Ukraine living in the United Kingdom will be able to attend one of the live shows. Despite ESC 2023 taking place in the UK, last year’s winner Ukraine is involved in the organization and represented.
Ukrainians living in the United Kingdom through the Homes for Ukraine Scheme, the Ukraine Family Scheme and the Ukraine Extension Scheme will be able to apply for tickets – which will be offered for the three TV shows and their family shows and jury shows.
These tickets will be subsidised by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, with a £20 charge for each sale.
