The Netherlands’ song for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) 2024 is about to be heard for the first time. The representative is Joost Klein, who will perform Europapa.

The release of the song is scheduled for February 29, next week. The selection was internal, among over 600 submissions sent to the broadcaster AVROTROS.

The selection committee is confident in the “European hit potential” of the song. The Netherlands aim to return to the grand final after finishing only 13th in the semifinal last year with seven points. They were represented by Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper with the song Burning Daylight.
