Image credits: Mummi Lú The line-up of finalists of Söngvakeppin 2023 is closed. Celebs secured the wildcard assigned by the broadcaster RÚV among the semi-finalists who weren’t directly qualified.
After last Saturday’s second semi-final, the executive committee announced that Celebs and the song Dómsdags Dans advance to the final. The band had been «eliminated» in the first semi-final.
Söngvakeppnin 2023 final will take place next Saturday, March 4, and selects Iceland’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
